Blizzard of 2014

As bad luck would have it, I am snowed in while home in Toledo, Ohio! We have been and still are under a Level 3 Emergency, but effective as of 2 pm today, Lucas County will be at a Level Two Snow Emergency. For those of you who do not know what that means, here is the information!
LEVEL 2: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.

LEVEL 3: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.

It is beautiful looking out the window from my warm home, the sun is shining and the snow glistens like diamonds, a picture worth a thousand words! This truly is a Gem of a Snow fall! And while the temps fall along with the wind howling, makes me long for the beaches of Maui, where the sand is as white as snow!!!
