Cindy, Ashley & Sylvain

Cindy and Sylvain along with their daughter Ashley took a trip to Maui and stayed at the Maui Banyon Resort! That is how this story got it’s roots. Roland and I also took a trip to Maui and stayed at the Maui Banyon Resort! Cindy and I met and became instant friends, they are from Canada, Quebec to be exact! Cindy and Sylvain and Ashley were on same cruise as we were, on my Birthday. Then, on Wednesday morning Sept. 5th on the Charlie Young Beach, Cindy and Sylvain got married! We were there to witness this most special event in the lives of our new friends. Cindy and Sylvain have been a couple for 18 years, and their daughter Ashley, who is 13, all said their I Do’s. The backdrop for this wedding included a rare early morning (8 a.m.) rainbow which the Minister said he has never seen until this day! As the waves crashed against the rocks, the minister started the ceremony with the traditional blowing of the Conch Shell and ended it the same way only, the newly married couple had to hold their kiss for as along as the minister blew the shell, it lasted a good few minutes. Not that the minister is full of hot air, but man-o-man it seemed like forever! After the ceremony we stayed while the photographer took pictures! It was a picture perfect setting, memories to last a lifetime for all of us!
