Braggadocio

I love words, I love learning new words! I love playing Words with Friends on Facebook! Todays new word, braggadocio, was found in a story about Muhammad Ali! You just never know where you will find a new word!

Merriman-Webster Collegiate and Concise Oxford English dictionaries recently exposed some new kids on the block. Oxford went to the trouble to select its new words from a database of more than 2 billion words from contemporary Web sites and texts “to prove their ubiquity,” as the editors described the process. Many words sound foreign to me, but not as much as Anishinaabemowin Teg! One final word on this subject is – zyzzyva!
