Bite my tongue!

I received a letter because I spoke my mind to someone who’s mind has been lost many years ago. It’s sad that in today’s world one must hold their tongue. Written on the outside of the envelope was this, “God almighty is the author of Life and if you can’t respect others, how can you respect Life! Or be worthy of it!” The letter inside the envelope was blunt, I’ll leave it at that! The point of this entry is to say that for whatever it’s worth, I should have know better to even have any kind of conversation with certain people. I’ll have to try harder in the future, for once again I have failed in the course of “biting my tongue.”

One Response to Bite my tongue!

  1. Roland says:

Well, let me say this about that. I have spoken my mind so many times in situations that have irritated others that had I bitten my tongue just a tiny little bit each time, I would have no tongue left at all today.
    Oh, well.
Given the religious overtones of the written comments on the envelope of which you write, Judy, I am compelled to write the following:
Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
