Rare Obituary

I took the time today to read the obituaries in The Toledo Blade and a special lady I know died. What was rare in the reading of her Obituary was this, “requested that none of her many honors and accomplishments be listed in her obituary. She requested that it simply be said “she lived, she tried, she died”. In her case, they would have needed a full page to list all the honors and accomplishments! But for those of us who knew her, we need no such reminder, she was one special lady that I will never forget. Rest in peace! You will be missed!

I remember Rosemary Bramson well. She was the Principal of the Saturday Religious School at Collingwood Avenue Temple, Congregation Shomer Emunim, when I was a student there in the early 1960s.
