Backyard Babies

It all started yesterday when I noticed one of my eaves-trough baby birds on the ground. It was so cute, it had all it’s feathers, and it didn’t look hurt. I feed it bread soaked in water and it took it. As the day wore on I keep checking to see if it was still in the same spot, when panic set it, it was gone. I hope it’s OK, as I search all over the yard, PHEW! I see it, all is well. Next came night time and I had only to hope I would find it again this morning. So out I went in search of the bird and I found it and it’s twin. OK! two birds in different area’s of the yard, fly little birds fly, before you are somethings lunch. Nope, they like it here, they are staying around awhile longer until they learn to fly. I think I’ll name them Wire & Chicken, Why? Because the one has taken a liking to sitting on some chicken wire and the other is chicken to fly, ergo, the names. Gotta go check on my babies!!

  1. “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.”
    What does that mean, anyway?
