We went to our bank today to deposit a check and asked the teller what interest rate we were getting on our account. She had to go ask her manager and instead of the manager asking us to her office, the teller gave us a printout. The teller started talking to us about our account in front of customers waiting to be serviced. No, the manager was not busy with another customer at the time, but another employee was standing in the office. Another lifetime ago, I worked as a teller, I never would openly talk to a customer so that everyone could hear. Shame on that manager for being so busy she couldn’t talk to us, now she’s going to be minus our business.
